Four Lines Four Times

This arrangement is simpler. As before, the lines need commentary. I was in doubt for some time, thinking that I was losing the extraordinary landscape-like symbolism of the Hexagrams. Works cannot satisfy all goals simultaneously. So here is one form of completeness at the price of missing the traditional perspective. Yes, this is more abstract, but perhaps the 4-arrangement still reminds us of the “closure” of our personal action space. It is a different landscape, more horizontal than vertical now, with more actors and -crucially- with the immediate presence of the ground beyond the simple Earth of other eras.
